A boot made in China nearly a century ago with woven straw and a strip of red fabric inspired this series of textile prints. Each print was developed by hand with India ink and acrylic paint on paper.

This pattern collection was exhibited in the RISD Museum as part of Designing Traditions Biennial: Student Explorations in the Asian Textile Collection (2010).
